Elven Ranks and Roster

Ohtar
New recruits, with slim to none military experience and/or training. They can either train in class sessions, or with a personal trainer (a PC with rank Rochben or higher).

Maethor
Elves undergone basic training, with some combat experience.

Rochben
At this rank elves can undertake students and specialise in their combat styles. They have accumulated a good ammount of combat experience and have started to prove themselves mostly useful to the army as a whole.

Káno
These are the captains of the elven army. They must have mastery over one specialisation and can start training for a second, although they can not achieve mastery in it, unless they advance in rank. Kános lead divisions of the army, depending on their main specialisation. (Someone with Marksman specialisation would be a leader for an archer division)

Thoron
These are the generals of the elven army. They can have two mastered specialisations. They lead regiments of the army and answer only before their equals, the Council and the Aran.

Councilor
The advisors to the Aran. They are chosen by the people (PCs). At all times one of the councilors must be a man with military experience and at war, both must. If the second councilor doesn`t have military experience and a war ensues, he is replaced by a Thoron or a Káno. Councilors can be removed by vote of noconfidence of more than 60% of the people (PCs). The Aran can choose to ignore them, but not relieve them of duty.

Aran
Elvish king. As the ruler of the united elven tribes he can choose to listen to, or ignore his councilors. He is chosen by the people and can be removed by them all the same, through either a vote of no confidence from more than 65% of the people (PCs), or a vote of no confidence from both of the councilors and 45% of the people (PCs).

This is the roster of the elven armed forces. All characters are included in it under their respective rank. We try to keep the roster up to date. However, if you can not find your character`s name, or your rank is incorrect, please contact me or any of the councilors and we`ll update it.
