As the elven army is divided into four categories of troops, each of them have their own unique specialisations.

    Archer Specialisations

    Elven Specialisations Archersspec

Militia - Everybody starts from this rank and choses a specialisation before proceeding to the next. At this rank you get training in the use of all basic weapons, but concentrate mostly on the one you`re going to specialise in using.

Archers - They have gone through basic training and chosen to specialise into archery. They use basic weapons, but are more skilled than the militia, making them part of the main force in the army.

Rangers - They are good at both long and short range. Camouflage is part of their everyday life. They can choose to further specialise into either being Archers of Mirkwood, or Archers of Lothlorien.

Archers of Mirkwood - They use enchanted arrows and are great at long range. They hide in the woods and attack their enemies without warning. Their bows are made light and good for long range. Their armor is light as well, so they can easily move undetected among the trees.

    Archers of Lothlorien
    - They use armor piercing arrows. Their place is on the open battlefield, standing behind the spearmen and swordsmen, filling the heavy armored enemy troops with a rain of arrows. Their bows are heavier, but have extra power to the shot. Their armor is medium.

Marksmen of Mirkwood - This rank is given to the best of the best. Those who complete whole missions behind enemy lines without being detected. They also use light bows, good for long range and enchanted arrows. They shoot fast and silently. However they wear medium armor, which is only slighty heavier than the light one, but that doesn`t have an effect on them due to their experience.

Marksmen of Lothlorien - The best archers on the battlefield. They have greater accuracy. Their arrows are slightly heavier, tmaking them more deadly at shorter range. They can wear heavy armor, making them more fit for close combat.

    Swordsmen Specialisations

Militia - Everybody starts from this rank and choses a specialisation before proceeding to the next. At this rank you get training in the use of all basic weapons, but concentrate mostly on the one you`re going to specialise in using.

Swordsmen - They have undergone basic training and have chosen to specialise into swordsmenship. They charge in at the enemy after the spearmen meet the firstwave. They can specialise into Súl Ehel, Dagnir Ehel, or Riders of Rivindell.

Súl Ehel - They specialise into dual wielding and using weapons like hatchets, short swords and the like, aside from the standart elven swords. They are fast and strong against enemy melee combatans. However enemy cavalry and archers are very effective against them. They wear light armor.

    Dagnir Ehel
    - Slow, but better protected and deadlier. They carry heavy weapons, likes greatswords and axes. Able to bring down most weaker enemies within a strike or two, their speed is what handicaps them. They can choose to specialise into either Dagnir Ehel of Erebor, or Dagnir Ehel of Noldor. They wear medium armor.

Súl Ehel of Dale - Amazing speed and good damage. These elves are very effective in close combat and can easily avoid enemy cavalry charges. Their armor is better, but their weakness is still enemy archers, especially those who use enchanter, fire, or armor-piercing arrows. They wear medium armor.

Dagnir Ehel of Erebor - Thought by the dwarven axe masters of Erebor, these elves wear heavy armor and deal deadly blows with the axe, however their speed is still not good, so they are weak in defense and agaisnt cavalry charges.

Dagnir Ehel of Noldor - They carry a greatsword and wear mostly medium armor, in rare cases heavy. They are slightly faster and very motivated making them a force to be reconed with on the battlefield.

    Spearmen Specialisations

Militia - Everybody starts from this rank and choses a specialisation before proceeding to the next. At this rank you get training in the use of all basic weapons, but concentrate mostly on the one you`re going to specialise in using.

Spearmen - They have gone through basic training and started specialising into using a spear. They carry basic spears and are the main force to deal with enemy cavalry, or fight the enemy in tight passages. They can specialise either into Guardians of Grey Havens or Ruth Ehel, or Riders of Rivindell. They wear medium armor.

Guardians of Grey Havens - They use both a shield and a spear, becoming perfect front line fighters, to stop both cavalry and melee combatans. Although they don`t do much damage, they can hold the line until the cavalry or archers of mirkwood flank the enemy. They wear heavy armor.

Ruth Ehel - They specialise into using a polearm called Haldeberd, which has an axe at the top, making it deadly against any enemy. However they don`t have good protection and can`t be very quick in the manueverment of the polearm. they wear medium armor.

    Cavalry Specialisations

They can specialise either into Guardians of Grey Havens or Ruth Ehel, or Riders of Rivindell.

Swordsmen - They have undergone basic training and have chosen to specialise into swordsmenship. They charge in at the enemy after the spearmen meet the firstwave. They can specialise into Súl Ehel, Dagnir Ehel, or Riders of Rivindell.

Riders of Rivindell - The main cavalry of the elven army. They can use either spears or swords, depending on their previous training. They flank the enemy and attack from behind. They can further specialise into Spears of Rivindell or Swords of Rivindell, again depending on their previous training. They wear light armor.

Spears of Rivindell - They have had training as spearmen and chosen to become cavalry. They carry spears and are deadly to both enemy cavalry and enemy melee units. However after their main charge they aren`t as strong and enemy spearmen are very effective against them. They wear light armor.

Swords of Rivindell - They have had training as swordsmen and chosen to join the cavalry. They carry swords and are heavily armored. While their initial charge isn`t as effective, they are strong against weaker spearmen and fight well even once the horse has been stopped. They wear medium armor.
